CSO hosted it’s first Atrium Day this April, and the club definitely made sure its presence was felt on campus. We had a two-table display in the Atrium of Western’s University Community Centre, and were there from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm.

Our display included the flags of several Caribbean countries, posters displaying Caribbean facts and influential people from the region, as well as books and keepsakes from a few different countries. We also had a memory wall for anyone to sign and write what they love about the Caribbean and its people. Information Pamphlets on CSO and its activities over the past school year were also handed out.

Overall, the purpose of the event was to display our presence on campus and recruit prospective members. It can definitely be said that the event was a complete success, and you can count on seeing another CSO Atrium Day next year!
